Specialised Recycling Programs
Car Bumper Bar Recycling
Our automotive recycling program partners with smash repair shops across Sydney to collect and process plastic bumper bars into high-quality granulated material.
There are requirements for this program, which include:
- Complete removal of all contaminants, including but not limited to; metal, grills, chrome, clips, headlights, fog lamps, reflectors & reinforcement bars.
- Plastic-only materials (no rubber or fibreglass accepted)
Plastic Drum Recycling Program
Through our drumMUSTER-aligned chemical drum program, we ensure the responsible disposalof plastic chemical containers while meeting strict environmental standards.Preparation RequirementsThey must meet our 100% clean, cleanliness requirements, which involve:
- Triple rinse drums to remove all chemical residues
- Ensure containers are completely dry
- Remove all lids before collection
Note: Drums/containers that have previously held oil, grease, lubricant, or other greasy substances are not eligible for this program.

Plastic Pallet Recycling
JK Plastics reprocesses plastic pallets, diverting them from landfill.Acceptance CriteriaPallets must meet our 100% cleanliness requirements, which involve:
- Accept both Polyethelyene and Polypropylene Plastic only (Look for recycling codes 2 and 5 or letter combinations HDPE, PE, PP on the pallet)
- Contamination Free - Particularly metal reinforcement bars.
- In your enquiry, note any plugs on the pallet - commonly nylon or rubber.
- Note: Pallets must be contamination-free. All waste products and oil must be thoroughly washed off before acceptance.
